Regenerative IT solutions

IT infrastructure engineered for uptime and designed to regenerate.

Infolife Computers designs, supplies and supports critical IT for hotels, enterprises and service providers. We also measure and reduce the full environmental footprint of that infrastructure, from the server rack to the site it stands on.

The gap

Most IT providers stop at the meter.

Hardware vendors optimize for the sale. Sustainability consultants rarely touch the hardware. Infolife covers the whole lifecycle, so the team that measures your footprint is the team that reduces it.

Regenerative IT

Measure the whole footprint. Then reduce it.

Regenerative IT is the practice of operating IT infrastructure so that its net effect on energy, water, materials and land improves every year.

Green IT aims to do less harm. Regenerative IT sets a higher bar: it reduces the footprint of the infrastructure itself, then improves the ground it stands on. Because we supply and support the hardware, every recommendation is one we can implement and measure.

Illustrative example. Power usage effectiveness (PUE) is total facility energy divided by IT energy. Lowering it from 1.82 to 1.45 means 14 more of every 100 kWh do useful work.

m² regenerated, canopy cover, water retained on site

05 · Report

Impact Reporting

Regular reporting that turns operational data into a clear record for boards, clients, partners and permitting authorities.

Includes
  • Quarterly metric updates
  • Annual impact report
  • Emissions organized by GHG Protocol scope
  • Data ready for sustainability disclosures
Deliverable

Quarterly dashboard and annual Regenerative IT report

Site & water regeneration

The land around your facility is part of its infrastructure.

Unused perimeter land sheds rainwater, absorbs heat and produces nothing. Designed well, the same ground shades the building, holds water on site and produces food for the community. No relocation is needed.

Included as standard

A footprint review on every project

Every infrastructure engagement includes a short efficiency and lifecycle review at no extra charge, so the systems we install are right-sized from day one.

Approach

The Infolife Framework: a cycle, measured against a baseline.

Every engagement follows the same five stages, so results are comparable year over year and across sites.

Stages 1 to 3 improve the infrastructure, stages 4 and 5 regenerate the site and report results. The cycle repeats annually, so every report is measured against the original baseline.

Do we need to relocate or rebuild our facility?

No. Regenerative IT is designed for existing infrastructure. Most of the impact comes from how a facility is equipped and operated, and from the land and water systems already around it.

Is this only for large data centers?

No. A hotel server room, a regional ISP or a single-site enterprise can all start with an assessment. The framework scales from a few racks to a full facility.

We have no land. Is there still value?

Yes. Efficiency, circular hardware and reporting deliver most of the savings. Site regeneration is added where there is land or water infrastructure to work with.

Which standards do you align with?

We report energy, water and carbon using PUE, WUE and CUE, and organize emissions by GHG Protocol scope, so results can feed the sustainability disclosures you already make.

Where do you work?

Our team serves clients in Mozambique, Brazil, Portugal and beyond. Our ecological partners work internationally, with implementation by local teams.
